SRY- I don't go to NHQ
Let's see- an expanding barrel, a collapsing stock, and a gun that will probably suck. Close enough. If it gets modded, all the stuff will be gone anyway.

The DIFFERENCE is that it comes with a limited edition Transformers comic book, dammit!

Oh yeah, and that it enables you to "Blast DECEPTICON warriors with the bump action dart-thrower". Whatever in tarnation bump action is, it's hopefully similar to "PUMP" action, which would mean it's a pneumatic blaster- so depending on the size of the airtank, it could be more like the SM5000...! Gotta dream, baby.

The EAB doesn't suck after you mod it, well unless you are retarded. If you mod it right it can get some great ranges, my neighbors gets more then my max shot and his EAB didn't start cracking yet so it is better then a max shot.

The optimus prime omega sqaudren energon blaster complete with real laser sound and flashing lights, capable of decimating a target instantly®

Yeah, sounds a bit gimicky, but if it does what it says, its definalty worth the flashing lights.

Im confused, has it come out yet?

Well, it probably has something to do with Armada rather than old-school awesome Transformers. So, it'll, you know, suck. And you'll probably end up cracking your pubic bone making love to it. Sicko.

Oh. Okay. Well, go easy on the making love to it part.

Volt, dont diss okto.

...What? I wasn't dissing him, genius. I said, "Well, it probably has something to do with Armada rather than old-school awesome Transformers. So, it'll, you know, suck." Then I said he'll probably break his pubic bone making love to it because it sucks.

That guns so cool, I'm already fading back to kindergarten when the original Transformers aired and life was good. from the picture it looks like the new SM1500 without the 4 barrels... It needs paint black glossy paint, with flames

no it doesn't!! why would you get it, then destroy the only reason it's good, namely the transformers appearance?

leave the autobot sign and give it a flame job like a nice hot rod's.

I have to get my hands on one of those! Another cool thing would be to cut down a nightfinder, give it a cpvc barrel, add a stock starting just under the handle, a cpvc "scope", paint it plack and white, and put a decepticon decal on the handle (in short make it look like megatron in gun mode). I just have to get my hands on a nightfinder...

With all the recent Transformers stuff coming out lately, I still think the old 80's cartoon was better than the current one. Who here remembers Megatron turing into a freaking GUN instead of a tank? If I had the money, all of the old-school Transformers DVD's (as well as the original figures) would be sitting on my shelf by now.

I must admit, though: that gun looks fricking sweet! Maybe I should consider ordering one, or make my own rigged to a NF or something for internal functionality. If I paint this one, I might go all-black, giving it the original 80's cartoon laser look.

I come from a generation of Beast Wars which would totally kick transfromers ass. they had smooth graphics and animals insted of poluting machines, much more enviromentally friendly. Plus they saved the humen race from early extinction before we even made fire.

spaztic, your name is well-chosen. don't talk anymore.

oruko: i remember gun megatron, but tank megatron p\/\/|\|z him. think about it: gun megatron is useless without starscream (is it starscream? it's been a looong time), whereas tank megatron is a complete weaopn.
sidenote: seen the 20th anniversary optimus? fully poseable, all weapons, killer paintjob.

cooldood: do it. and post pix.

After watching some of the older episodes on the first season DVD set my friend has, I think Soundwave usually carried around Megatron when he is in gun form. (btw, next to Optimus and Megatron, Soundwave is one of my fave transformers, mainly because of his cool-sounding voice.)

Besides, when (the older) Megatron is in normal robot form, his scope blaster is freaking huge! That thing can blast craters in rocks!

I SO want the 20th anniversary Prime. It pretty. I saw it at my local Wal-Mart, but I can't really afford it right now, with house payments to make and bills to take care of...

I'll post pics of my paintjob if I get around to buying the gun, which I probably will do sooner or later.
