Does leaving a spring powered blaster cocked all the time weaken the spring?

The spring takes a set, especially if you modded it to full closed height of the spring.

Actually, I had a friend who had a magnus that got jammed for a pretty good while. He just gave up on it, and when we did open it, the spring wasn't too much worse. So, leaving it cocked for a day or so isn't going to do much harm, if any.
