And here it is folks! Range: 100' + or - 5 feet with about a 3' dart skipage shot from shoulder height on pavement. ~10 shots, ~8 pumps/shot. And just wait till I plug the over release valve! This thing will be a BEAST! Too bad the pumping is in back.

Yeah, it's real nice except for the rear pumping and 8 pumps, but I guess that's what you pay for the super range

Great work once again. The barrel on the Bazooka looks great; the whole color scheme is awesome. How long is the Bazooka? I've never seen one before and I'm curious how long it is. I still can't beleive how much range you get with that barrel.

oh man when I shot it the first time i was like WTF, given the situation you WOULDNT THINK it would work that well, but i know why it doooes! It has a HUGE air volume output, so it acts kinda the same way homemades do, it puts out the air for a bit, so a LONG barrel system wouldnt effect it.

the nib gun is 21" long, with my assembly it is 35" long, keep in mind i chopped off the whole front part of the casing (at the inner wall) I also trigger moded it so there is no space between the trigger mechanism and where it hits the valve pin to release the air. Its stupid to pump, but especially when I plug the overrelease valve, a 10 shot loser rifle with shitty pumping is still better than anything out there.

Its not that hard. Heres a picture of my mod-



Just cut it at the endcap, plug the valve as normal and hotglue it all up.

yeah, following what kevin did Im gonna cut it about half an inch up from the endcap, plug the valve, glue/tape/ hoseclamp it back on. you just REALLY have to improve the trigger system if you want it to ACTUALLY shoot once u do this.

K, so i plugged the pump/ reinfornced the trig. and am now getting more power for sure. I did two shots real quick in my park which were both 106' on grass straight shot w/ the same dart so there is a slight boost, I now pump it 10 solid times. Its a nice little boost but you gotta make sure to line up and properly gluie/tape the pump shaft back together correctly or you are going to have issues.

I tried it out for myself.
Changes:
Removed second clip
Why? 1/2" Ball valve doesn't let my darts through
Used brass barrel
Why? 9/16th brass doesn't let my darts "slide" in, too tight. Copper worked well for this purpose.
Kept the original barrel casing
Why? Because it's where you stabilize it with your second hand, hold while pumping.

I'm getting around 70' to 80'. I'm gonna check all my connections to make sure they are sealed, and will hopefully achieve 100'. Right now, a 5 shot clip for this monster is a big improvement. I like it!

Still to come:
Paint job
Ammo holders in front of case
Plug overpressure valve
Seal all seams



Very comfortable, too. Easy to aim, big enough to stick against your shoulder.

Ten bucks american, nice job hunter but i was wondering how the whole clip thing works? They are so cheap I think I'm going to buy another one, pluse there as good as a xbow except rof and I can fix that with a clip!

Awsome job dude that looks great! Thats smart to have the casing infront so that it helps support and gives you a place for your hand, it seems more comfertable than cutting it off.
Things I would check to improve range:
-blow into the gun from the barrel, if you get get air through feel around to see where its coming out and plug it
-make sure that your trigger mechanism is releasing all the air at once, if not you get a slightly less powerful blast, I had to play with the trigger mech for a while to get it just so.
-(i dunno if you did or not) sand out the front/back of the pvc clips ends and drip some lub in it so you never have any jamming issues- also helps range (now no lube in the barrel, but a touch in the loading tube, shooting it a few times will disperse the lube evently )
-the rest would just be effected by your dart/barrel ratio
-Possibly plug the over release valve if your up to it, it improved my range but I'm not even sure it was the best idea in the longterm lifespan of the gun.

i don't think kevin ever did one of these guns...did i miss something?

evidently he plugged the over release valve in it and then put it aside because he hadnt trigger modded it or figured out exactly what he wanted to do with it, but he told me about it so i decided to try it out.
