I discovered (though I DO NOT claim to have invented) a technique for adding springs to a plunger rod with a permanently affixed head.

Gut the electronics, drill a hole in the shell, and attach a crank to the gear. Bam, crank-action stampede that doesn't require batteries, or even a trigger.

This method has been around since people started modifying blasters, please don't attribute absolutely everything to your mythical YouTube god. According to that logic, he invented Silicone grease, and teflon tape, and Epoxy putty, and paintjobs!
