Hello, I managed to get my hands on a mega cyclone shock last week, and it came in today.

I did the following mods, even though a couple of them would have gone better with a dremel:

AR removal

dart post removal

micro conversion

and attempted to do a spring upgrade, and this is where the problem is. The screw holding the plunger head on stripped completely by the end I took it out, as though it was stupidly overtighten.
I was looking for a replacement screw, but I eventually got really pissed and gooped the head on.

So, my question is, How can I add a spring later, even though the head will NEVER come off.

I know. I was just busting your Muttonchops. It's just what I do.

I just posted a video answer here:

I haven't had the pleasure of opening a cycloneshock yet, but if it's anything like every other direct-plunger blaster I've had this same problem with, then it should work.

As for US availability, I just found it on Target.com so I think so :)

Gut the electronics, drill a hole in the shell, and attach a crank to the gear. Bam, crank-action stampede that doesn't require batteries, or even a trigger.

...(also judging by your past posts, I would consider you pretty dang wise elder like in the modding community  )
