I'm going to be putting a few blasters up for auction on ebay today. 4/5 are small enough for the flat-rate boxes but then there's a VULCAN... What's a good service to go with that I won't have to charge people a ton for?

USPS has always been the go-to for me. As long as the box isn't over 4' in length you won't be charged a premium. Shipping on a Vulcan usually is about $15 for me.

Might seem like a no-brainer, but just in case:
Take the batteries out! Shipping is very weight-sensitive, and all those big bastards will cost you a fair bit extra.
And it is always worth looking into the cost of shipping in your own box, those flat-rate guys are set up so they make their nut even if you're shipping lead ingots, so there's sometimes a bit of wiggle room to be had there, as well.

-edit: I suppose most of the weight sensitivity comes into play with priority and 2-day, but I figured it would be worth stating anyways. Good luck!

I ship all the time, and always use USPS. As stated, flat-rate boxes are a terrible value for most nerf stuff. Use First Class mail whenever possible, because it is cheap. You get an online discount if you pay through Paypal or directly on the USPS web site. Pricing tiers for a particular size are based on weight and incremented at whole-pounds. Don't be afraid to cut down boxes to make the next lowest level, your customers will appreciate it. I can typically shave a few ounces off just by shortening the inside flaps on a box.
