Noob question: Best service for shipping large blasters?

Gut the electronics, drill a hole in the shell, and attach a crank to the gear. Bam, crank-action stampede that doesn't require batteries, or even a trigger.
...(also judging by your past posts, I would consider you pretty dang wise elder like in the modding community )

USPS has always been the go-to for me. As long as the box isn't over 4' in length you won't be charged a premium. Shipping on a Vulcan usually is about $15 for me.
Thanks Toby. I didn't know about the over-4ft-premium-thing. $15 is around what I was hoping to charge.

Take the batteries out! Shipping is very weight-sensitive, and all those big bastards will cost you a fair bit extra.
And it is always worth looking into the cost of shipping in your own box, those flat-rate guys are set up so they make their nut even if you're shipping lead ingots, so there's sometimes a bit of wiggle room to be had there, as well.
-edit: I suppose most of the weight sensitivity comes into play with priority and 2-day, but I figured it would be worth stating anyways. Good luck!
