Hey guys I know that darts can be expensive and all and I've been doing some digging and I found this link on eBay for 400 darts for about $21. Quite honestly. That's a freaking deal. Here is the link if anyone is interested.

I would at least try to get a detailing picture of one of those darts, if not a sample, before purchasing them. If these are any good then that is a great price.

Or hell, Spiderbite has sweet deals on this stuff now, so there's really no reason not to Rainbow.

I saw those a while back, but decided against those darts and went for the "Koosh" darts for the increased thickness of the dart and what I believe is a better tip design. There are several sellers that offer deals like the one you posted with the same fake elite dart tip design that use a thicker foam that works better for flywheel blasters and allows a better seal for spring and air powered blasters. If you do get some of these, or a package from another vendor, please post up a review so that we can have more information when looking for alternatives to expensive Nerf branded darts.

While I can't speak for these darts specifically I once ended up with some knock off "elite darts" with tips made of hard orange plastic. No way I would ever shoot those at a person, though at that price it may be worth re-tipping them somehow...

I wonder if McMaster sells adhesive backed 3/8" felt pads...

These are definitely the hard tipped darts. If you play in an area where glue domes and the like are still legal these are a steal big time, they fly true and are just a bit lighter than your average stefan. Otherwise I'd go with Koosh darts from eBay seller beautifulwoman2012 (their listings should say "Improved Adhesive") or Voberry darts from Amazon if and when they are restocked.

I would pay the $5-6 more for these http://www.ebay.com/itm/141308904091 They're 'Voberry' Darts. I have ordered from this seller and can confirm they are not the hard tipped plastic. The tip is about 1mm longer than an Elite dart, and a smidge softer. The foam is firmer than Elite darts, and they shoot very very nicely from my modded stryfe as well as multiple springers in my house. I purchased some of the FVJ darts the OP posted, and they are terrible. Half of mine have either torn randomly, had chunks rip off, tips popped off, or just flew so erratically I threw them away. Now I just have them in a box somewhere where I never use them, or I use them for their foam to pad plunger heads.

When I saw this, I was curious also. So with some researching on the McMaster-carr website, I have come to the conclusion that NO, Mcmaster-carr does not sell 3/8 inch diameter felt bumpers. However, They do sell 3/8 inch thick felt bumpers, but the smallest is 4 inches in diameter, Which Will not help unless you plan on making a stupidly big Stefan with it.

I ordered a 500 count bulk box of the blue elite darts awhile back and they have the hollow points and the air holes. They look just like Nerf darts and fit every clip and blaster I tried them in with no jams. Very good darts. I'm impressed.

If it doesn't fit...force it...if it breaks...it needed to be replaced anyway.

They're probably what are often called "Voberry Darts" in the community. They look and feel VERY similar to elite darts. The darts the OP posted definitely have hard tips.

Yes, yes it is. I can't remember where, but someone bought into this and came away feeling just as happy as they did when clicking the button. Apparently, they're good quality rip-offs.
