Hey guys! Blasterlabs said that the N-strike Elite Crossbolt is on Target's Website. I can't wait to get my hands on one! .They also said that the Sharpfire,Flipfury, and Slingstrike <_< are in varios stores.

Just thought I'd spread the news.

Now the good ones to look forward to are the Mega Berzerker and the XD Rapidstrike.Oh and the Modulus, whatever that is.

Edit to add:Target may have it featured but they say it's out of stock.

According to the Target website this is NOT battery operated, I'm guessing it is like a clip-fed firefly, mixed with the rebelle mini crossbow blaster.

Looks like this one will be another one of those "Target Exclusives" for now as Amazon has no information on the Cross Bolt. That being said, looking at the actual production pictures has me thinking happy thoughts because it appears this has the potential to be a very compact and very well performing plunger operated blaster. I am going to go out on limb and hypothesize that the priming handle is connected to a rear pusher arm that slides the dart forward into the barrel while priming a rear facing plunger, much like the Centurion, just better. I will have to wait until next month, given that it is in stock then, to get my hands on one of these as I am trying to limit my new blaster purchases to one a month. -_- If this blaster has a decent sized plunger tube, then it looks to be a solid option for some wild integrations. Thanks for the heads up RS Gunner.

Picked up a Flip Fury on Saturday at a local Toys R Us, they also had the Sharp Fire in stock so I can confirm that they are on shelves. My local Target (Muncie, IN) has tags for the Big Shock and the Cyclone Shock on shelves and has displays including the Cross Bolt, but no price tags indicating that the Cross Bolt will be out soon.

plunger operated blaster

It's all conjecture until someone gets one in-hand, of course, but most people are pretty sure that it's acutally string/bungee powered like the Rebelle Diamondista and Elite Slingstrike.

This just popped up on my radar on /r/Nerf.

There is a firing video in there. This is the blog as I have absolutely no credit in finding this.

You're welcome. My favorite website is BlasterLabs when it comes to reviews and the latest Nerf News.

Judging by the video I'd say that it performs quite well but we will see for sure when someone gets their hands on one. I am very interested in this blaster.

Well here's a wiki on the Crossbolt: Nerf Blaster Wiki These are the instructions for firing: Step 1 - Load twelve darts into the clip.
Step 2 - Load the clip into the blaster.
Step 3 - Pull the top gray priming mechanism back and push it forward.
Step 4 - Pull the trigger to fire.

This is the worst kind of speculation thread. When you actually have one, you're welcome to post a review, but until then there's no point in speculating about something you don't have access to yet.
