I finally got my Rapidstrike today and decided I didnt want to wait for my 18650 battery holders to come in. I took a look at the stock tray and figured out its actually pretty easy to modify for 18650s.
I tried to do it in a way that would be reversible if necessary.

Note: I know this is NOT the optimal way to modify a Rapidstrike. This is my quick and simple, almost drop-in first step. Safety wise, I think it is fine as I haven't modified any of the gun's internals at all. Let me know otherwise.

The guide is hosted on Imgur here: http://imgur.com/a/hIzyr

Random rant: On a separate note... I was kinda pissed off about my brand new Rapidstrike. The magazine flywheel switch was jammed, so I had to fix that. And even worse, a wire leading to the pusher motor was broken, so I had to re-solder that.

I am going to eventually open my RS and when i do I may add another method of transferring power from tray to gun im thinking of mounting a xt60 connector to the occupied side of the gun so i could open it without cutting the negative terminal again... If i ever do make this modification ill make my own thread on how i did it.
