Yeah, I'm sure someone has already posted about this gun as it is not new but I just bought one (for the minimal price of $10.00) at TRUS and I am extremely happy. I bought the gun about 1/2 and hour ago and have already modified it to the extreme. I cut the gun clean in half took the air restrictor out of the barrel and cut of the trigger guard and this gun is already getting an average of 103.5 ft. with my stefans. This gun is extremely simple which is nice and what is also nice is that with a little sanding I was able to leave the original barrel on there and still get great ranges. My mom is currently camping and took our digital camera but here is basiclly what I did plus there is no big ugly hole in the front because the gun had a barrel holder right where I cut it in half.

Heres the original gun:

and heres what mine looks live except I got the black, silver, and yellow model like what The Haze used in his mod:

I would definately recommend this gun because it can almost get the ranges of a modded xbow and costs only 10 bucks.

The box says 8, but you can usually pump it 10-11 times before the release valve is activated (I'm thinking about removing it because it gets annoying)(pump...pump...pump...pumswoosh) You know what I mean.

Okay so I know this is an old topic but I started it and I just wanted to show some pics of the gun (just finished) I don't know if you'd call if camo but heres what I did: Silver coat, machinery gray coat (light coating) then I did the black gray and green coats on top, then of course the clear coating and done. The mods are air restrictor removed rpg launcher attachment added sawed off front e-tape grips, and I obviously added the over-the-back belt and the spitfire stickers. Tell me if you like it.

It has a rather aggresive (sp?) look to it I think. Anyways the thumbnails are click to enlarge as usual and post any comments you have.

edit: Sorry I just realized that that was a double post!
thanks

I love the paint job. I am currently doing a RSCB mod to my Blast Bazooka and it's looking great, but I hope I can paint it half as well as you did to your's.

Thanks! As it turns out I actually really screwed up on the paintjob. I put on new coats before the old coats were dry and then left them in the sun (big mistake) I don't know about Canada but Seattle has been having record breaking heat lately. So the outside coat would dry, but the inside wouldn't so the next day when I picked it up because it felt dry and put horribly fingerprints all over the grip, pump and the front of the gun. Anyways I had to leave it in my freezing basement for about a week so it could fully dry then I sanded the last couple coats off and repainted it giving it two days to dry for each coat. Anyways that why it took so long.

p.s. what are you talking about anyway you are the one that ended up winning th paintjob contest aren't you?

feel free to post pics of it in this topic when you are done, I'm interested.

Nice addition with the Spitfire stickers. ^_^
Maybe you should add something on the front barrel so it doesn't look off balanced. In other words its got this thin barrel in the front all everything bulky in the back. Meh, I barely understand what I'm saying.

I've seen the interenals of those. And they are pretty close to the airzone airzooka. The one thing about the airzooka though is that it takes a TON of pumps.

Nice job though, i thinkk im gonna do that to my Airzooka.

Actually I know exactly what you mean DJ hurley, Infact I already made a grenade launcher attachment type thing. It's just some 1 inch pvc attachment that are made so you can launch film canister type grenades from it. Props to Taita for the idea about the grenade, and thanks for everyones interest in it.

edit: Oh and I've been meaning to email you, you gotta have some sort of joke about the lanard guns in the next "grand theft nerf 2" and then have someone get the blast bazooka and kick everyone elses ass with it. Just an Idea and I'm really looking forward to the game!
