I got a couple questions via PM and addressed them here so that everyone could benefit from the answer.

If you want to participate in the league, feel free to PM me about it. I'm not sure how many people will be interested but if there are more than 16, I'm going to pick the people who are more active here.

I don't anticipate rejecting people out of spite, but that's always an option... <g>

Instructions:

At some point you need to have a Yahoo account so these instructions will just assume you already have one.

Go here and click the "sign up now!" button in the fantasy football heading.

Do NOT click on join a custom league or join a public league buttons!

Under those buttons, it says: "Free Fantasy Football ... blah blah blah ... sign up now!"

Click there.

Then click on "join custom league" and enter the id and password.

You should be golden.


BTW, Sid Vicious is Mario of YANO fame... he doesn't do the forum thing.

There are at least 6 more people signing up who have PM'd me about it already. We'll still need a few more to fill it up though.

Question, when exactly is the draft, I really need to know in advance. Although last year, I missed my first pick and it automatically gave me priest holmes.

Alright, as promised here is your official draft warning!

We have 8 teams and need an even number so if you still want in, you have to find another person to sign up with you and you only have a few days to do it.

Since we're at 8 teams, I have locked the team count and set us up for a 4 team playoff during the 16th and 17th weeks of the season.

Next Friday the 27th I will set the draft status to READY at 1:00PM PST.

Once I set draft status to READY, the server will AUTOPICK our teams based on either the default player ranking OR the custom ranking you have set. Draft order is decided randomly by the server and flips every other round - if you get first pick in round 1 you will get the last pick in round 2 and so on.

If there is anything you don't understand, please ask here.

Halfie just sent me a PM asking to play. If someone else expresses interest in the next few days, the two of you can join.

If we go up to 10 teams or more, I'll change it to an 8-team playoff so more people can have fun in the postseason.
