This is a setup using an old-style Buzz Bee Big Blast Tank. It works alright I guess. Titan tanks also work for shotgunning, but please make sure it isn't TOO strong; separate the shotgun into into 7 outputs. There exist some funky looking PVC fittings that convert 1 output into 7 barrels, or you could use the absolver method and making your own multi-shot shells.

Um, isn't a backpressure tank one that uses a blast button? AKA not a big blast?

I would recommend a 1st gen Panther (has a bigger tank than later Panthers and the Air Max Ones), Lanard Big Salvo, Nerf Triple Strike, or possibly a Lanard (?) Sonic Bazooka.

I think the biggest tank in that list is the Triple Strike followed by the Salvo then the Panther, but I think a Panther Buzz Bee Blastzooka might be your best bet. You might be able to get away with an Air Max One (AM1), depending on how many darts you want to shoot at a time/what sort of range you need, but I have no experience with AM1s.

Edit: Drev made me remember the blastzooka.

If you have trouble finding any of the tanks that aren't made anymore or even trouble finding a Blastzooka tank, expanding Air Max 1's and Hornet tanks works very well. I know my expanded hornet tank can fire out of a hopper, so I'm assuming it would be able to shotgun darts. Expanding tanks takes more work though, so finding the larger tanks would still be ideal.

Yes, Blastookas are a nice, with it's smallish tank and long pump. You can even shotgun the blaster with it's shell.

I also think it's worth noting that my Blastooka can hopper about 3 darts and utilizes an 10 inch 17/32 barrel, and punches around 90-95 ft (with a plugged pump and 6-7 pumps)

Multibarrel shotgun barrels are rarely required to get a decent spread. Packing a single barrel with more darts will decrease the minimum volume and power to make shotguns work reliably. Almost anything will work provided it has the volume to accommodate a barrel long enough to fit multiple darts. War hosts don't refer to this as a "shotgun" when discussion oversized power systems(big blasts, titans, etc) that are allowed only in special cases, but if you put your darts in one tube you don't need to use the kind of oversized power systems that are restricted in the first place.

Thank you everyone for the help. I am actually working on a project involving multiple backpressure tanks, and possibly a singled front pressure(big blast, etc. but a small one) that will all fit inside a wii hunting game accessory. This is my first big project. But, since this is my senior year in high school, I will have to postpone the unveilence of the monstrocity I am calling "George" for now. The official name will be released with it's release. The one tank I KNOW I will be using is the BB Blastsooka, with it's original pump relocated in the wii accessory, and have it's crappy check valve removed.
