hello nerf haven!!!!

This is my first post here. I am relatively new to the world of modding nerf guns but by no means new to nerf. Last Christmas, i ended up buying some of the zombieforce guns for my nephew and fiance's son....and myself....after all you must be armed and ready for any attacks. Naturally as it happens with children, they ended up sitting around for about 5 months till i was looking at the Hammershot sitting in the closet and thought, Man i could probably paint this bad boy to look amazing....well better at least. I started going through my paint and what not, being and artist and all i had an arsenal already waiting for me. The first one i painted was the Hammershot, went with a green and black look and added some medical tape to cover the "taped" grip that was already their. I ended up removing all the posts and AR. I left the spring as it was just because i wasnt using it for anything but for show, it was just my first time modding so i wanted to play a little. I ended up taking my dremel to it a bit also, adding some dents and what not. Ended up removing the warning labels and hammershot font, left the NERF on the side so that if it ended up in public people didnt freak.

This was one i did for my nephew. i painted it like how he told me, i let him go with what he wanted
i removed the dart posts and AR only, but i left the orange bits because he would be running around on his street shooting his friends

Now this one i painted on a commission. They wanted a Titanfall themed Roughcut. This one i left everything on the inside because they wanted the staged firing mechanism. They let me have free reign with this so i did so. i ended up bringing it into photoshop and then just laid color over the natural lines and saw what worked the best. I ended up going with the theme that is presented on the xBox one controller. Being that the pump action was the prime function of the gun, i left the area in which the grip flows over unpainted and used the white that the gun already had there. Other than that i went to town on the gun with my airbrush and added a little dirt and muck to show that its been used out in the field and have been knocked about.

im looking forward to doing more just out of the shear fun it is to get these things looking different. Currently i have two more guns in the works, one is a commission of the Star Loards blaster and the other is a gun for myself because i just like the small nature of the blaster..

please let me know what you guys think, comments....complaints....commissions ;)

Hey, these are awesome mods man! But to help you out, you should remove this post and move it to the modifications and paintjobs section. This could get you temporarily suspended

that titanfall rough cut is beast and the nite finder you should have put an orange tip on and left the ARs in because it looks more real and it also sounds more real especially if the person you modded it for runs around outside with it (I almost got the cops called on me for this reason when I was younger)
