I want to make a Roughcut to Retaliator/Recon barrel masterkey but without any glue. I know Coop772 has a guide for using screws, but I want to use zip ties. Will it work if I drill evenly spaced holes through both the barrel and the Roughcut and fasten zip ties between the holes?

BTW- I will saw off the necessary parts of the Roughcut.
Thanks!

Yes but I would recommend hose clamps instead for more stability. There may be some wobble issues but that would be fixed by greasing the rough cut and making an epoxy putty mold. Same as NoM did to attach a splitfire to a tornadobow at one point. I think it's in one of his arsenal videos if you want to look it up.

Thanks! I just didn't want to use hose clamps because they require really big drilled holes, but I will now

if you don't mind spending a little cash THIS works perfect. I have one in mine. Just waiting to get my connector From these guys. That is unless I find one that screws into place.

Zip ties are very wobbly and sloppy compared to the screw method. I believe I use #6-32x 3/4" machine screws, but I wont be sure until I go back to my dads on thursday. I will edit if needed then.

I have done integrations with only zip ties and they are very stable and strong. Just make sure they are of a sufficient load rating.
