Recently tried modding a longshot (standard AR and lock removal, 3 spring combo) and it will not fire. Only real sign of damage is some ABS warp where the PT and the breech connect. Please help.

Will it catch? If you cannot get it to catch properly then try using some different springs. They may be too thick or too long and not compress enough to reach far enough back. I've had this issue before. Expiriment with some other spring combos and see which one is causing the problem. You can either use a different spring or cut it to make it shorter.

Pictures would help, do you have the dart tooth in? The dart tooth is crucial for your darts to feed.

Pictures would help

Please do this.

Make sure that all the little springs are in their place and haven't popped out. Also check to make sure the locks Hasbro has in there aren't interfering with operation.

The internals directory is super useful for determining if something is mucked up on the inside of your shiny toy. Take a good look at the Longshot internals.

Help threads without pictures are terrible, because it is impossible for us to help you, and if you do manage to solve the issue, it is impossible for anyone else reading the thread later to figure out how to fix it themselves.

In addition, there have been a million help threads regarding longshots not working. You should do a forum search and read up on the old literature. I can give a 3-sigma guarantee that your problem has been previously solved.
