This just in: Custom tee shirt for Team Woo, my group of friends who Nerf in my area. I'm going to be wearing this baby to the upcoming DCN war and hopefully Apoc if the time and resources allow this year.

Pwn.
If any of you are wondering, I used the nifty system at Zazzle.com to make this shirt. Unlike other custom printing systems or companies where the minimum number of tee shirts is about a dozen (and runs you about $200), Zazzle lets you print out any number you want - as in there is NO minimum number of shirts to be printed. As in...I just got this one printed. Granted its ~$20, plus shipping, but if you want custom shirts for your clan, this would definately be the way to go.

You can do text or upload images directly onto the shirt itself. I used a 250 resolution set of images and they turned out fine. The layout of tee shirts vary and the styles do to - you're almost bound to find a style you like.

I'm thinking of making a few more for my buddies. Anywho, just thought I'd share it with you all.

Just don't come ~$20, plus shipping, short of going to Apoc, or everyone will laugh at you.
Cool shirt.

I'm not a poor college student...yet, Zero. But thank you for your concern. By resources I basically meant ammo, guns in working condition, etc.

Believe me, if I came up ~$20, plus shipping short for Apoc, I'd - I don't know what I'd do. It'd probably involve immense amounts of peanut butter, genitalia, and hordes of rabid chipmunks.

Nice shirt.

I don't mean to take away from the moment, but have you ever considered ink-jet/iron-on transfer paper and ... the oh-so basic technique of screen printing?

Nice shirt all the same, and it just wouldn't be the same without that '69' now would it ^_^

Cool shirt Groove!

Ink jet transfers suck. They last exactly two washes before disintegrating.

Screen printing is cool. I'm going to buy a simple registering bracket and a few screens some day so I can do extremely limited run shirts for my own amusement.

Seems a good enough time to mention that the MOD IT. PLAY IT. LIVE IT. NH baseball jersey is on sale for $14.99 at Cafepress.

I was on the cafe-press site yesterday. I didn't see them. My dad owns two screen printing machines [from school, he's an Art and IT teacher] and multiple, multiple litres of paint.

Worth their weight in gold.

CX, do i smell a new NH shop on the horizon?

I would happily buy a NH shirt, its just I dont want them it in white is all, I wish we could pick which colors we wanted the shirt to be. (I would buy like a charcoal grey longsleeve etc.)

Did you actually have to pick out a specific design for the front logo or did you send that design in to be made? Maybe I should stop the laziness and wander around the site longer and find out how-to myself.

Sweet shirt either way.

I made all logo for the front, and the letters and numbers for the back, uploaded them, and they turned out great. That's the cool thing about it all, you can scratch make a tee shirt yourself. Just make sure you use a high resolution when you make the images.

We are getting shirts made, or have been trying too for a while now. We an't all decide on a logo. At the store near our house, its 30 bucks, then 10 bucks per shirt.

So wait, the process is just $20. So I can make one shirt, thats $20, and then make 3 shirts that are the same, and still $20? I got this website I make flash movies for with my friends and shirts have been a big thing we wanted to do.
I'm confuse-ed. As long as they sell black shirts I'm down... bitches.

No, 1 shirt is $20. 2 shirts is ~$40. 3 is ~$60.

No minimum requirement for printing a minimum number means you can order 1 if you just want 1. Some stores sell custom tee shirts, but if you only want, say - 5, you have to order a minimum number to be printed, which is usually about 50.

The more you order, the cheaper they get.

EDIT: They don't sell straight black tee's...although they do sell Raglan style tee's with black arms and shoulders, and ash grey torsos.

Whatever happenned to the good old days of "t-shirts" ... ... what are these "tee shirts" ... Bah ... Insolence!

Shortshit: Maybe you should consider finding a friend with a screen printing machine and mixing up some NH designs [and just waiver that little thing they call copyright]. Most stores sell blank, or reasonably boring t-shirts and jumpers, so it's not like you have to search far. A lot of the time, K-Mart will be selling old stock t-shirts for as little as $1-15 ... Then it's just a matter of transferring your design.

Screen printing isn't too hard, its just that your shirt will only be as good as your stencil. At school my dad has this little machine that gets an image or logo, seperates the colours and then gets this wax paper sort of stuff, makes a layer for each colour, and burns the design through the wax. Well, at least that's how he was explaining it.
