It gets around 120 feet angled (around 95 feet flat) with a brass barrel. I am currently working on a different brass setup to improve range now.
The main thing that I was not satisfied with was the angle of the stock. Now, I am almost ready to start building a new P90, that will use two hose handles to correct the angle problem, and give me a semi-auto design at the same time.
Here are my latest plans:
The bike pump can handle pressure up to 90 PSI, so I should get good regulation. It came with a short cord that I will use to connect it to the tire valve. The pump will be mounted along the bottom pipe facing forward. The pump handle will be operated at the front of the gun.
I would like feedback concerning the overall look of the gun, and the ergonomics of the pump location.

I love the first design: the one that's made. If you don't mind, I will be making one close to it, but not the same. It will be semiautoish, using a ballvalve as the second hose handle. That way, it would be small, yet have a fast ROF, a militiaman's dream. I also would have the top rail lower, even though it takes a bit away from the realism.

Yes, the nozzles can lock open, and I could use that function to waste the rest of the pressure in one final shot.

Edit: Go ahead, GeneralPrimevil. I don't care if you use my idea, as long as you don't go around claiming you made it first.

NinjZ suggested a PVC tee to connect the "L" to the barrel piece and then plugging up the connection.
The Inventor Guy from NHQ suggested a splint of some kind to epoxy it on.
I could use some more ideas, to give me options.

Edit: Ha Ha, great minds think alike. Langley and I were thinking the same thing at the same time.

Well, I already smidged a little with the grip, but I definitely don't want to go wrong on the shape. If I didn't care if it looked like a P90, there are a dozen other ways I could have designed the gun.Takeing the L peace off defeats the purpose of getting the shape and feel of a P90.

What's a P90? Is it some kind of firearm made of pvc and hose nozzles?

anyway, nerf. are you planning to leave it all pipey, or encase it? cos really, the cachet of the p90 is in its one-piece ergonomically molded frame.
also, have you considered battery-powered solenoid valves to give to semi-auto fire? im not sure how this matters in a single-barrel, magazineless weapon, but it would get rid of the awkward dual-sprayer arrangement and give you much more precise bursts of air.

Yes, I might try to fill in the empty spots between pipes, but sometimes piping gives a nice "not-real-but-cool-looking" impression to the thing. When I made my first ball-valve homemade, I used a pile of newpaper to flatten and fill in the gaps. It made the gun very heavy, and required a layer of ugly duct tape. Now, I took off the tape and paper, gave the gun a coat of glossy black, and it looks awesome.
If anyone has ideas for space-filling techniques, I sure could use them. Maybe if I could get some 'spray-insulation' foam stuff that dries stiff enough to bond to the PVC and be painted.

Edit: An idea just hit me! What about cutting those big blocks of styrofoam that come in packaging so that they fit in the gaps?

Instead of having dual solenoids, try to make one with a solenoid/hose handle and a ball valve. That's how I would/will make one of the Vintage P90s. I f you can though, use a trigger style hose handle. I think they are better than the rear levered ones. Try looking in Meijer's gardening section. I always find them there.

i would use wood, the basswood or birch or whatever you can find in 3" wide bits in almost any craft/hobby store.
