It would be cool if you hosted a Chicagoland nerf war. I can never make it to mayhem since it is 2 hours away. (I'm 13 and don't have a car.)

That would be cool. Kane and I are the only people who have hosted wars around the area, and we don't really have a location.

Kane explains our predicament quite well:

We want to host some sweet Chicago area wars, but we don't have a location. There's a tentative attempt to have a war on Aug 16, same day as I'm expecting to teach a HAMP class at the workshop88 hackerspace.

Basic Requirements are:
Permission from landowner to use the area for a toy gun war. Landowner must not be duped into thinking that we'll be playing with mavericks.
Mowed grass or at least dirt. No Effeminate dart-eating shrubbery.
Enough trees for shade and a bit of cover.
400' x 600' space without random dudes w/o goggles walking through it.

Awesome bonus stuff that would be cool and fantastic:
More trees
Cover other than trees
Access to setup day prior to war, complete cleanup day after war.
Nearby food and poops.

So if you can find a location near you (since you're really close to us), we'd love to host a war.

Do you have to bring your own darts, or will darts be provided?
Clips, obviously, need to be brought, but since you said that guns needed to use regular elites, I was kinda wondering.

Also I was wondering if anybody was hosting a war in Northeast Indiana, as I do not haz a drivers licence and my parents would be somewhat reluctant to drive for 3 hours just to watch me shoot people with toy guns, even if even if they were really OP toy guns I designed myself.

Look at the date in the first post. It says 2014. It isn't 2014. Stop posting here unless you have some extremely dated war pictures to add.
