Hello,

I have done my due diligence, and have searched everywhere I can think to find the correct answer, as evidenced by this topic, I haven't found my answer.

So, my question is this. I have written a rather long post in Microsoft Word, and have saved it as an HTML, to preserve my formatting.

I'm ready to post it, but I'm having the hardest time figuring out how to post html code. I'm not too worried about photos or fonts, but I'd really like to be able to just post what I've written in format I've written it.

I have tried it using the *bracket*html*bracket (my html code) *bracket*/html*bracket

bracket = [ or ]

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks - Gimmick

The [HTML] BBCode tag is an XSS threat and I don't think it's ever been turned on here. You'd have better luck re-formatting your post than trying to convince the admins to allow an injectable tag.

You could try out one of those HTML > BBCode converters. Here's a example:

Anything that comes out of a word document saved as html is going to be garbage though. Easiest thing to do at this point would be to copy->paste into an editing window and then start adding markup manually. Outside of embedded photos, you shouldn't need a ton of formatting for a NerfHaven post. If you're using anything more than bolded headings, links, and the occasional bulleted list, it's probably too much.
