I'm trying to make a clan so far we have five pepole on the team( are team name Is the FEARED FIVE) what are some tips to get more pepole intrested.

Just make sure people have fun and they'll want to come back for more. If they have good enough of a time they'll bring more friends next time too.

I like VACC's idea on it. Dont set out to make a clan. Try to get your friends to nerf, and as he said, they will come back if it was meant to be. Then when they keep coming back, it means you made a clan.

Be careful though.... sometimes these kids can be like ugly puppies; they keep following you and coming back for more, even after you kick them. Howard springs to mind, though he's not MY problem.

By the way, how is the LCM doing? I suppose the term "good clan" could be loosely applied to you guys, at least you are a clan... more than the LGLF has goin for it. Anyways, yeah. What've you guys been up to? I haven't heard from you much since the weather dropped into the ungodly cold range, I figured you were hibernating like some sort of forest rodents or something, squirrels perhaps. So since the weather is warmer now you might stop fondling your nuts and come out of your sub-optimal caves. sub-optimal.

So...is this whole clan thing a bastardized form of the clans from FPS games? I never really understood the nerf clan thing. Clans never seem to meet each other for matches. I have a nerfing group of a couple diehards and a bunch of people I can call up if need be, but I never considered us a clan.

The whole Clan mentality is really only for if you plan on nerfing against other groups of nerfers. Other than that, it gives a group some sense of identitiy on the NIC. I know in NJ there are enough cells of Nerfers to warrant having individual clans and we do meet to have inter-clan Nerf Outs; the same is also true for So. California. Otherwise, if you just Nerf with your own group of friends or represent the only cell of Nerfers in your state you probably don't feel the need to identify yourselves as a "clan".

I wasn't talking about what Famine said. I meant clans in general. And besides your Four Horsemen, I don't think any of the clans carry any weight online. Of course, I don't hang out at NHQ, so I may be wrong on that one.

I think the clan mentallity may be a bit more prevelant at the HQ. The Ohio nerfers seem to be associated together, people know a lot about the LCM (some people ask my relation to other clan members, and Howard has been asked about the layout of his room), and yeah. Then theres some other clans from God knows where.
