I haven't been on the Forum's lately so I don't know anything about its downage or if its been closed. So if I may ask; Whats the deal with Nerf Revolution?? I can't access it at all on any browser and I haven't heard anything about it closing and I can't seem to find any recent info on why I can't access it.

Admins: Sorry if we're not suppose to post other Forum related stuff on here, I had no idea. And I checked to see if someone posted something like this recently and I saw nothing so sorry if something was posted I didn't see.

Oh yes, please do, that would be ever so kind. Could you also return that missing airplane? The Malaysian government has been looking everywhere for it.

Anyways, it's been down for quite some time, maybe a month or so now? Activity there had almost completely died, and anytime I suggested that it might be more worthwhile to just move the important info over here to NH and close down (to consolidate users, and hopefully drive more activity) I was met with vehement disagreement. Well, it seems as though now Vincent or whoever was running it has just stopped. Kinda sucks that we've lost the resources which weren't cross-posted.

I did send Vincent an email the other week, hopefully he gets back to me. My hope is, if they've truly given up the ghost, that we could host a read-only archive of NRev somewhere (since there is a lot of unique content over there).

Yah, it is a real shame the NRev collapsed. Much of Louice3 and many other's work is now lost forever. If the site is recovered. We could possibly post a read-only version in a forum, merging it with NH. On the bright side, now that NRev is down, nerfers aren't separated and now everyone has their ideas on one website.

Louice3's stuff is all on his photo-bucket. Off the top of my head, the only content on NRev that isn't on here or HvZ would be Louiec3's stuff (still on his photobucket), Taer's stuff (which no longer had photos anyway), Ragriz's Hoppered longshot, and Rogue's stuff on Longshots, which has been done by others so its not lost entirely. We lost the newsletters, so that blows.

I'll text Vincent periodically to see if he responds. My working theory right now is that he is actually a CIA operative, and that he is now deep undercover in Crimea.

So, big takeaway from this is, always have more then 1 admin on a forum.

RIP NerfHQ, NRev, and Soothsayer. Apparently, NerfHaven is the Highlander.

It may not mean much to the rest of the NIC, but NRev was pretty much the base of operations for the Southeast. War threads, pictures, all those memories, now lost to the dark abyss of the unknown.

Activity on the site was definitely at an all time low, but I still enjoyed having it around as a resource.

As far as discussion went on NMW, it seemed someone hacked the server that Nrev and many other websites worked out of. someone posted a screen shot of the page and it had all the things a low level hacker would put, he even wrote on the altered website page that he used an Mp3 codeto hack the server that he stole from someone else. (i have no idea how that would work, but i'm just filling in the blanks from what i know.)
