Well I found a first shot at my local tru today. I tried cx mod but it did not seem to work. All that would happen is my Stefan would stop about 2cm out of the barrel and the weight would just fly out like a bb gun. Any suggestions?

I don’t think it is that due to that (crappy Stefan’s) all of my guns won’t due this. A maxshot and at2k don’t do this.

Give us some more info:
What kind of seal do your darts have with your barrel?
Is it loose?
Tight?
What brand of FBR and what barrel material/brand?

Well I found the problem…
the edge of the tip of the barrel was not cut properly. With every good solution comes another problem. My ranges are nothing close to cx’s. I am getting 15 feet MAX. The FBR I am using as a reasonable fit. Double weighted bb’s for weight. No idea what is wrong with it.

Double weighted bb's is the problem, especially for a pistol. Use 1 weight.

Well if he uses bbs like we do, double weighting is good as they are kind of light. weather or not hes got 1-2 bbs in their shouldnt be why hes only getting 15'. Either you need to redo your seal betweent he barrel and the gun, or its something wrong with your darts and barrel.

cork the end of the barrel or press your finger hard against the muzzle, and dryfire the weapon. does air leak out around the barrel joint?
