I know that Cx, Rawray, Boltmaster, and Merlinski all have Gmail accounts. Oh, and Gamefreak.

Who else has one?

I recently got an invite from my dad. I love it. Everything flows, it looks nice, and its easy to start using. Can't wait for the real thing to come out.

I just got one about a week ago... and i've been uploading tons of stuff to it. It's pretty good, but remember it's still in beta testing. The contact list needs to be improved, because you cant use it to send one email to multiple people. You have to copy/paste the name in, or send many emails.

The thing I am loving is the major amounts of file transfer and the 1000 Megs of space they give you. Not to mention the fact it isn't owned by Microsoft.

Isn't Google a sub-company of Yahoo?

It kills Hotmail. No other way to put it. Even with Hotmail's expanded service, which is not free, it can't compare. I'm trying to get my Dad to switch to it. He's still using Hotmail (and not the free version). How much longer until they release it?

I got one also, got it 6 days ago. Accord you can type the name in and it will bring up a list of contacts and you can select it that way, and keep doing that with a comma seperating every contact. Rag i heard two things, first week of december is one that i heard and another is july 4th at midnigt. That is only what i heard.

Google is not affiliated with any other company. They are in the midst of going public with a stock offering.

There is no release date set. They are still in Beta.

Cranky, check your mail. Yahoo conveniently puts gmail invites in the spam box so you'll want to look there.

How can you "invite" someone? Is there some special way? I know you send it through e-mail, but how does the sender send it?

if you recieve a invite, there is this button that you push that says invite a friend, when you do that you put in their name, and email, it will send a email to them with a link i think, open that and fill in the info.
