Theirs a small nerf scene (S.L.A.N.G.) 5 hours away in slc with a few very active members. I don't think I've seen anything posted in Vegas yet. Never too late to start your own crew.

I posted about 2 Vegas wars but the outcome was horrible. The best nerf scene here in Vegas is 702 LV Humans vs. Zombies on Facebook.

I just checked out their page. Why does it seem different compared to other nerf scenes like SCUN Armageddon? And whats with the fee

HvZ, you can't use high powered Nerf blasters. Only air restricter mods, voltage mods, etc. When SCUN is NIC purpose. That's the closest Nerf scene I go to. Only 4 hours away from here.

What is NIC? You go all the way to CA for nerf? SCUN must be really good.

NIC: Nerf Internet Community.
I live in Salt Lake City (10 hours away from L.A.- 20 hours round trip) and once every few blessed years I drive to a SCUN event. This year should be my third 'geddon. It's THAT good.

But that's partially because *I* will be there. Seriously, if you can get out to Armageddon, it will be well worth the trip this year. Probably every year, but this one will be huge. I would expect that a city like Las Vegas could have quite a large Nerf community, if it were cultivated. I'll bet that there would be plenty of UNLV students who would be interested.

Honestly, I know this is an older post, but the HvZ games out here are nothing compared to what I have heard from standard college games. I have been to around 6 of their games, they are hosted usually by one person and a few mods, and they aren't regular with game scheduling. They keep us waiting for months, and if there isn't enough people attending, which is usually the case, they cancel. It's the only thing we have in Vegas and I hate being at their mercy.

We have a lot of inactive players, and inactive mods.
Each game is consisted of rounds, and all the weapons are put into tier lists, leaving pretty much all the automatics for the hand few of people that survive to the final round.

I also wish there was a Las Vegas nerf group then me and my son would hav something fun free and relatively safe to do. I've been thinking about starting one but not sure if I could honor the commitment and I would like to keep it nonprofit so any money that does come in would go to gear and events and so on and so forth to get tons of people into it... any insight from admins or others who run or help run nerf groups plz reply thx
