Lets Nerf in inappropriate climates!

This war is a themed war: Attendees must wear a holiday sweater, with a prize being awarded to the ugliest sweater.

When: January 25th

Where: Armstrong Park (Unless anyone locally would like to suggest a different venue)

What to bring:
Ugly Sweater
Blasters
Ultimators & missiles (Note: If anyone has any Ultimator or XXL Bazooka missiles to sell, please message me!)
Food/Cash
Firstborn children to be sacrificed to Yog Sototh
Appropriate clothing (Ex: Mankini and a parka)
I intend to have warm beverages available.


Darts: I plan on using 1/4" slingshot hot glue domes. If there's significant pressure and respectable folk traveling in, I may restrict it to lighter weights and/or slugs.

Gametypes to be played:

• ULTIMATE CORE PENETRATION
  
  • If we get enough people/missiles, we can play Triple Penetration!
• Freeze Tag
• DM variants
• DTC?

Lodging may be available with advance notice.

No guarantees this far out, but I should be there. Just be sure to remind me to bring my Ultimator, because my big missiles are aching for more penetration.

The 1st would be the closest weekend to my birthday so I may get busy, but other than that I have no preference on the date.

I'm going to start building some adequate cores for UCP to ensure that we don't have missile-bouncing fails like last time.

Just go 130mph. Penetration is what all the cool kids do! Plus you could even use your former Ultimator for a round or two!

If you want to have a set of cores for yourself, go ahead, but I was going to look into having a dedicated set for here, since, y'know, we're going to he having a lot more penetration, if I have any say in the matter.

I'm sure the rest of us would be happy to do so also. But if anybody can give a really good reason why we all have to use slugs I'll suck it up and deal.

I don't have a problem with Real Man's Darts™. I'll be making mine with ball bearings that are approximately the size and weight of 3/0s.

Dom, I'm proposing a Crayola'd Pistols round. Everybody uses Crayola barreled NFs and TTGs and the like. One person could maybe use a Crayola barreled Ultimator to spice things up. No internal mods and limited to one rubber band per blaster. I'm willing to buy and mod as many pistols as needed to make sure everyone has one so we can try this.

No Nerf guns at the thrift store today, but I did find this beauty:

Yeah. It's all good so long as it follows the usual rules about pumps/oprvs. And just be safe with it.

Would I be able to get a ride from you NerfMonkey? I'm debating going to this war, I won't be kitted out at all for an NIC war, but it could be a lot of fun. First NIC war hopefully!
