I've been using a modified stampede regularly for about two years without any trouble whatsoever. Recently, however, it began cycling through the firing actions without evening moving the dart. When I opened it up, I found that the catch control spring doesn't move whatsoever. The spring is perfectly aligned and has no issues; it's just that the entire catch control mechanism that is supposed to release the catch can't move whatsoever. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. These is the area malfunctioning: http://imgur.com/VH8pfeq (Sorry for the link, despite being a 2 year member, I'm still a FNG)

Does it feel like it's being obstructed by something? Can you manually move it?

Yeap. Moves just fine and nothing is obstructing it. I can shift it through its full range of motion with no effort. However, when I pull the trigger when the gun is both disassembled and put together, the catch release system won't kick in so I get through the firing cycle with no air released from the plunger whatsoever.Does it feel like it's being obstructed by something? All you need is a stronger catch spring. I don't know why it happens even though it functioned before, but I have seen this before and a stronger catch spring is a must for every modded stampede.
