My friends and I were thinking about hosting a nerf war but we need some help.
We don't know what a good place to have it would be, would a double baseball field complex be big enough or too big for the first nerf war in our area?
We also could use a rule set to look at and change (if necessary)
We if possible would like descriptions of fun game types
THIS ISN'T A DEFINITE WAR. We have technical things to talk to these people about.

Here's a list of gametypes, war-proven and fun.

If you want to host a war, just pick a time and place with your friends and play. Don't worry about complex rules or mechanics, because the simplest game types are usually the best.

I would recommend hosting your war at a park. An open field will work, but some tree cover is nice to mix it up.

Take a look through the How To Plan And Host A Nerf War article. For your first war, you don't need to be all super prepared - just show up somewhere with a few friends and have fun.

It would be big enough, but you might not have enough cover. Open fields are not great - it's best to play somewhere with trees or stuff you can hide behind. What type of blasters will you be playing with - stock, modded, or homemade? Stock blasters work better on small fields with tightly-packed cover.

We would be using stock and modded blasters. No homemades.
