1/2" FBR=9/16" brass, 1/2" cpvc, 1/2"pex, crayola, PETG, sch 80-micros stefans
5/8"=sch40-mega stefans
What you use for micro barrel material is what fits your FBR the best. My FBR fits CPVC like wonders, while very few others FBR fit CPVC better than there 9/16" brass.

It's also a more tan color than PVC. I use it for all of my guns and definitely recommend it (on my NF with a micro Stefan, it gets 80 feet with a few bands). You can get about 10 feet for about 2.50 at Home Depot. Great deal.It only fits mega stefans or stock micros. CPVC is also very common, it will be at Home depot in plumbing. Looks like PVC, with a thinner OD-outer diameter and thinner ID-Inner diameter. Glad to help.

i use pve with a 1/2 inch inside diameter, but as you know, the darts are too tight.
i have an adjustable ream that goes from just under to just over 1/2 inch. i have it set to the perfect size for my darts. get one of these and you can set it once, then use an electric drill to make as many micro barrels as ya want with a great finish every time.
this is probably a $10-$20 item, so keep that in mind. i got mine at a garage sale in a bag of drill bits, so i'm not sure on the cost.
