So I can't decide whether to ghetto rig all of my guns with CPVC and ramrods or look for 1/2" and 17/32" brass to do it properly, since I have thin shitty foam. Probably CPVC.

I wish I'd gotten some decent foam from McMaster or something before now.

McMaster might still be able to get it to you in time for last minute dart making; still, you'd probably do fine against most of these guys with a ramrodded Arrowstorm.

In other news, I'm looking like a confirmed +1 since my coworker (Brian) got approval from his wife to attend.

Now to get to work on making darts/guns for 2-3 people, somewhere in between moving.

1 week out from the war. It would be supa-neat if the maybes could confirm whether they will be in attendance or not.

I also know for a fact that there are more nerfers in the midwest that are able to make this war. You have a chance to nerf with the Sex Dwarves at their home field. The Sex Dwarves.

No footage, but I have some pictures from a sexy new game-type that we developed at the war:

Ultimate Core Penetration (Or, in other words, what happens when you host a war in Pittsburgh.)



















You may notice that we are using Ultimators and pistols for these rounds. I'll post the full game-type after class/work today. It was surprisingly fun and balanced.

As for the rest of the war, it was a fantastic time. Definitely looking forward to having another war in Pitt soon.

Super tight war everyone. Thanks to everyone who came out, especially if you drove further than I did (everyone). I had a super great time. a good enough time that I spent the better part of the afternoon Sunday sitting rather still, and gathering the pieces to several blasters that need repaired. I loved taking like a half dozen head shots (one being a rather close range Ultimator missile.) I loved falling down and nearly landing in deer shit. I loved ripping the handle off my PoS-PAS. It was a fantastic war, and an even better weekend.

The only thing I could ask for next time is more Penetration! Maybe have Penetration more than once! Or in different places. I'm going to practice shooting my missile so I can get it in easier next time. I also need to work on my Ultimator and get it to cock properly. It's tough to get proper penetration if you can't get it all the way primed. You either wind up over-doing it, or having a rocket just dangling off the tip, which is embarrassing.
