These are all extremely easy mods to do to your Elite Alpha Trooper, but they made mine shoot an average of 84 feet flat, farther than the stock angled range by 9 feet. I promise that all ranges I post are legit. Now, let's get started!
Here is your stock Elite Alpha Trooper.

Supplies:
Alpha Trooper
Retaliator
Screwdriver
Drill

Posted Image
Obviously you need to unscrew the thing first.
Posted Image
Once you have done that, unscrew this part right here (the dart tooth securing piece).
Posted Image
Than remove this piece (the dart tooth)
Posted Image
Then slide the breach back all the way (it may help to remove the main spring first).
Posted Image
Then remove the muzzle piece.
Posted Image
removethis plastic crap (this is a lock that prevents you from priming the blaster until after you fire),
Posted Image
You can then proceed to remove the whole breach system and catch.
After you have done this, separate the plunger assembly and breach.
Posted Image
Start drilling out right here until you can see through the breach (don't have any pics of this but it is quite straightforward).
Posted Image
I have replaced both the main o-ring and breach seal o-ring with the those of the Retaliator because I thought the seal was not as good.
Posted ImagePosted Image
Now for the spring addition. Take the spring from the Retaliator and thread it aroud the stock spring.
Posted Image
In order to handle the new spring load you must also add on another catch spring.Use the one from the Retaliator.
Posted Image
Before you put evrything back in, remove this lock here.
Posted Image
You can now put everything back in where it belongs so it looks like this.
Posted Image
Screw it back together... NOTE: This blaster will not catch if you put the buttcap on. Leave this off!
Posted Image
And you're done! Money shot..

Is there any reason that it won't catch with the stock attachment piece on?

I believe it's because with the spring addition, it's squeezing the back, therefore not letting it prime all the way back.
Again, not completely sure, but I don't really care about stocks in the first place.

No one will take this seriously without information about your darts.

Spot on. I had the same problem when I used a NiteFinder spring in an EAT. If you grind out some of the nubs around the inside of the back of the shell you'll have enough room for the springs to bind up.

Even then, I really don't think the Elites move enough air to get this kind of range.

Well if you have to know, I used elite streamlines.

I agree. My modified EAT, with 5kg omw spring, is punching roughly 80ish flat. That's the top of the mark, plenty of shots fall short around the 50ft mark.

I see no reason that doubling up on 2.5kg springs would produce this data.

I promise that all ranges I post are legit.

The fact that you had to spell this out makes me question you.

I shot down my flat sidewalk; each block is 5 feet; and this one shot 22 of those blocks. The flat 110' really soared, I think it must have been a perfect dart, with the hole in the tip pointing up.

Again, I will post a video sometime this week of it firing.

I call wind hax. Please chrony and then get back to us. If it shoots over 130 fps (highly unlikely), I will eat my red mage hat.

As much as I would love a chronograph, I am .1) 13 .2) out of money and .3) Incredibly smart and handsome for a 13-year-old.
I will see if there is a chronograph app or something.

Can be built with parts from radioshack and home depot.

Your range claims are just ridiculous, considering most homemades with (presumably) much higher spring load and air volume were found to have much lower ranges in a different experiment.

1 and 3 are irrelevant, and you should not be here if you are under 13.

Well, that would be nice and dandy, but pardon me for asking a stupid question, but if I, as previously stated, don't have any money, how would it help to make my own instead of buying one?

I modded my Retaliator with an Xplorer kit + 8kg spring, very good seal. And that was achieving 80-90 ft ptg with stefans.

Because if you are willing to buy a retaliator just for the spring, then you probably do have the money necessary to build a chrony. And building one is much cheaper than buying one, assuming you know what you're doing.
