Now that you have had a few weeks to play test your entries, I'm going to give everyone until midnight August 4th to make changes to their designs and write-ups. Some of the judges and moderators will be going through the submissions and offering their feedback, and you're encouraged to ask for help if you think there's something that could be improved.

I will also provide one last chance to submit a writeup starting now, and ending on midnight the 21st of July. If you have already built and tested a design, you're welcome to write it up and sneak it in this week. The submission thread is open. Get to it.

On the week of August 4th we'll score all of the entries, provide our final feedback, and select the winners.

Lastly, If you have the opportunity to show your design to a NerfHaven Moderator in person, take it. It makes it way easier to judge if we get to noodle around with it at some point.

Wonderful. I'll definitely have at least four more entries by this time - although none are original ideas.

Is there any chance this thread could be updated with links to the submissions? That or un-sticky it, I suppose.

Just so I'm adding some real content with this necro-post, here's a link to the write-up I made for members of the LARP I attend so they could construct a simple pull-back SNAP. Guns in that game were called "railcasters," thus the title. I know at least two were made using my guide.

Thanks for bringing this up. It is my understanding that, at this point, the contest is all finished and graded by the judges, and Langely is just too busy to finish up his news post that contains the results. Our apologies to everyone for the sluggish scoring. Langley, feel free to jump in if I spoke incorrectly.

I would also like to say that your write-up is excellent, and thank you for posting it. It would be nice to have a copy posted on the forums for archival use, since most of the write-ups here are linked locally, but that's your call if you want to do that.
