For cross compatibility with other software and other reasons, new accounts have been restricted to a limited set of characters for some time now. I've gone back and changed existing accounts to reflect this. Some people may notice slight differences in your display name on NH. Your log-in name has not changed, and the info you use to log in will remain the same. Only the displayed version of your username is different. If you have an issue with the changes made to your username, you can suggest an alternative, and I will laugh a merry laugh at you. Like the guy in that image macro. You know the one.
