]This is going to tell you how to make a homemade zing atl atl.

The finished product will look similar to this.

What you will need
Drill
pipe(half inch-1inch)
bungee cord
duct tape
Posted Image

First you will drill a hole large enough for your bungee hook to fit into.
Posted Image

Second you will put the hook into the hole from the top and not through the pipe.
Posted Image

Third you will duct tape the hook so it stays into place.

This is how the zing arrow hooks onto the bungee.

Make sue you have it on well.

Here is the firing test.

I have to be blunt here: this design should not be used, even by yourself. This is essentially a nerf sling, but with the major disadvantage of a wildly flailing piece of metal at the end of it (nevermind that part of regular operation involves swinging a chunk of PVC). It's unsafe by design.

That said, it's an interesting idea, and it's cool to see other ways to proprel Zing arrows. So, safety fix: there's little reason for you to be using a bungee on there, as the amount of energy storage and release is going to be minimal, considering the weight of a Zing arrow. Replace the bungee with surgical tubing with a loop at the end. Even then, I don't know if I'd allow this at a war without some padding on the handle.

Aww, I thought this was gonna be a writeup for a homemade zing/koosh ring launcher. But yeah, to echo what Carbon said, this is isn't safe. The stock Zing arrows (which I personally love) are fine for wars if left stock though.

Best bet for a good homemade launcher for them is to have a slingshot-like design, with a surgical tubing loop on either side, but put the slingshot "Y" shaped part at the end of an ergonomic rifle-shaped-PVC thing. A quick Google Image search brought up this:

which pretty much sums up what I mean. It'd be mad-easy to build with PVC and couplers, way safer than your PVC stick, and way more comfortable. Also, if we could get ahold of Zing and buy the ammo in bulk/semi-bulk, it'd make arrow-only rounds something awesome for wars, and potentially make arrows a viable ammo type in general.

I'm the only respectable person here. The rest of the NIC are pretty much just child molesters.

Generally if you are having trouble even working it while making a video, it needs some work. As others have mentioned its incredibly dangerous but then again, you could probably use and arrow to the face.

Only Groove gets to use image macros.

Ya I know I am trying out how to figure that part out but it was just for the heck of it. I am trying to figure out how to fix the safety problem. was going to put foam on it for safety.

Surgical tubing would still be way safer.

Mmmm. Face diddle. Also, I had to read the below posts to be completely clear on your design. Do calculators take photos now?
