If you are playing with teenagers, for goodness sake, don't reduce the pain on your darts. Nothing better than a bunch of pansies running around. No pity shots in our wars either.

The thing is, when I play with my brother, or little kids come over, I take away all the high powered guns and hide the painful darts. Padded darts are the only way to go with little ones around.

make the tips of your darts flat, not pointed or rounded. I find a metal surface works well to allow the hot glue to cool evenly and with a flat tip. The flat surface provides areodynamic consistancy so the darts fly straight and distribute the force of the dart evenly when they stike.

I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned (Didn't read the whole thread), but have you tried Webby Darts? WebbZter made these darts that didn't reall hurt at all when you got shot by them (I know, I was shot by them).

Basically, he made Micro Stefans and then put a cap of 5/8" FBR on top of it. That made Mega stefans. He later made Micro Webbys, with 3/8" FBR and 1/2" FBR.

This information can be found at WebbZter's Universe, I'm sure you can find a link somewhere (Check NerfEvolved's, NerfWorld's, or NerfHQ's link archive).

webbys are such a bloody pain to make...they aren't worth it. you can make about four stefans in the time it takes to make one webby. and webbys break.

I never remember WebbZter complaining about Webbys taking long to make.

Also, I've never seen a Webby break. Maybe you're making them wrong? Not using enough glue?

Question, the damn darts are shooting cookeyed or just dribble out of the barrel... how do I change that. I also found a method of putting the b.b.s in a straght line but the hole where could hold the b.b.s cookeyeyed. Could the mean anything?
