I feel like his modification is good and his parts are good but his price is unreasonable. I was wondering if I could order the parts from a site like mc mcmaster or if any one has any alternatives that would provide similar results. please inform me.

There are a plethora of Nitefinder/Firestrike modification guides with a list of the parts so you can just buy them at a hardware store. Also the Ebay listing you linked isn't overtly price-gouging given that if you were to source these parts from McMaster you would have to buy in bulk.
