The arm in my pyragon that "throw" disks out was broken, can I use proton's arm to switch ? (Are they the same size ?) If I can't , what should I do? Thanks!!

I haven't actually tried that, but the firing mechanisms do look almost identical. I'll bet it would work.

Ahem. If the arm is broken, I'd first attempt to diagnose what caused it to break. These things aren't supposed to do that, unless you re-clocked it, or say, removed that funny rubber bumper thing.

He might have installed the rubber bumper upsidedown. Since it's wedged shaped, the 'top' , longer, portion of the wedge should make contact with the arm first. If it's upsidedown, there is much less of a cushion upon firing the blaster.

I might be missing something, but did you take the pyragon apart, or mod it at all? Or did it just brake in stock form?
I haven't had any experience with protons, but I'd assume that the firing mechanisms are very similar, if not identical. If for some reason they aren't, you could just post a wtb thread for it here, it's a relatively new gun, but chances are somebody has a spare one lying around.
Good luck!

I did mod my pyragon, but the arm broke wasn't because the bumper. It just lost a little plastic on top, so the arm is still long enough to load the gun, but can't fire disks out. If proton's arm isn't as long as pyragon, it couldn't work at all (even they have similar mechanism)
