Hi everyone, I was going to put this in trading, but I felt that it didn't belong there as I am actually not selling anything with this thread, and the "Distributer Network" is only potential.

On with the actual content:
So I just came up with this, so it needs some more thinking, but I noticed that even with my flat rate shipping, it costs 70 cents to ship a wye if someone orders the most I can fit in a package. I am proposing to set up a distributer network of people who buy bulk who then distribute to those in their regions at wars and other events. This would allow for bulk packaging which is cheaper to ship flat rate via USPS. (I checked).
Obviously I would have a bulk discount as I am saving on shipping, but basically if you wanted to be a distributer, you would order a case of wyes, pay for them at the discount price, and then sell them at full price to those in your area.

And as a general announcement, if you have anything that you think would be beneficial to the community that you think I should make, send that in a PM, because I do want to know about it, but I don't want to clutter up this thread.

I don't know exactly how much yet, this thread is to determine if there was general interest, and if there were any problems that people saw.

Although there aren't very many homemade builders up here in Wisco I may be interested depending upon price and quantity of the case.

I could distribute in my area and at wars, but I want to know exactly how much a case will cost, and how many come in one. Please PM me once you have it sorted out.

You already know i'm interested in a large volume of them. I would also like more information, as everyone has been saying.

I understand you have a few bugs to fix with your Wye's, so this 'bulk distributor network' is far off.

As you can see, there is a large amount of interest. I recommend you get to work on fixing those Wye's.

I would like to be a distributor since I go to plenty of wars here in the east coast, the problem however is interest. Most of us use slugs and are fine with them as they feed through normal hopper. We're also mostly lazy and so making silicone domes is just a pain.

Tl;Dr I'd like to sell them, but I don't want to be stuck with $5 wyes that no one wants/needs.

Yes this is very far off, and I am working on the wyes I promise.

That's a good point, again this will need some more thinking through before implemented.

I'll take 40 of them whenever you get them done. If no one buys them I'll just use em for myself. And even if people don't use silicone domes, hopefully the "case" is cheap enough to bring the "resale" price to somewhere around $2.50 and people will just use them as normal wyes. (It would also open up a market for custom colored wyes for a certain theme/paint job for a blaster)
