I'm aware of the numerological rigmarole Nerf has arbitrated to name these guns. I do not find their assigned system of naming efficient. I'm quite particular to the diction I decided on for the poll as the future nomenclature for these new boomsticks.

The Scout looks awesome. I have a think for pistols though. Now, I love my PowerClips and all, but I love my pistols.

I agree with alucard. Just because thirst suggests it doesn't make it law. The letter + number system is confusing, I don't care if you can figure it out by how many shots it can hold. Do you call the Halo weapons and vehicles after their numbers? No, you use their nicknames. The same is true with real-life weapons. Attack helos are the Kiowa, the Apache, and the Comanche, not the OH-58, AH-64, and RAH-66.

Cxwq is on our side anyway.

Halo vehicles? thethirteenthour, are you talking about the puma? I hear you can throw grenades into exhaust pipes in Halo 2. This game will really be a "Halo Killer." I also hear that in the new version, you can hijack your own thread in just a few minutes.

My apologies.

I'm looking forward to the Hornet because it looks badass. I'm looking forward to trying to integrate it with one of my tornados, or maybe removing the top sight area and replacing it with the business end and internals of my powerstrike.

I hear in Halo 2 thread hijacking will be a one-button command. Like in GTA3!

Who gives a crap what they're called...

I just hope to call all three of them..."mine"...or at least my son's, after he gets tired of his Max Shot.

And I really hope the Titan will be the SM5000 substitute we've been hoping for. Mine is developing the dreaded chronic air leak.

Given that the characteristics are derived along these lines:

NF -> Scout
BF -> Hornet
sm5k -> Titan

I think the Hornet has the most potential because among those three lineages the BF had the most room for improvement. Imagine a 6-shot BF with a trigger that works properly and perhaps even a bit more volume in the tanks. I know, I can dream though.

Regarding the others, the 5k is already near the limit of what you can do with foam darts and it has superior ergonomics to the Titan. The Scout, with the design change allowing the slide to return after cocking, is unlikely to be superior to the NF, and could easily be inferior.

That said, they all look like they will find a place in pretty much everyone's arsenal as soon as the appropriate mods are developed.

The hornet because you get the most shots with out reloading.

So how many people are picking guns based on how they look? Ironman's definatley proving a point here. What's the primary reason we're looking forward to these guns? Better mechanics? Functionality? The pretty colors? If it turns out they shoot about as good as a 2 dollar Wal Mart rubber suction cup dart gun and you bought it for looks and ergonomics, maybe you can use the shells for better internals or something... Ah well, I still need to design a shell for my guns.

Im really liking the Hornet and scout right now...
Seeing as what I did with BF's, Im really excited for some new "meat" to screw around with.
And yeah, Its definatly not a law, but your definatly taking what I said a bit too seriously. Notice the " :wacko: " after I said that...

I'm looking forward to them all equally, but since there is no option like that I voted Hornet cause I wubz my BF's mangedled(sp) remains. Though the Scout looks pretty sweet, actualy I think it looks by far the best of the N-Styke line.

Now, I voted for the pistol but I still feel it's neccessary to reemphasize the fact that it doesn't matter which gun any of us are looking foward to since rumor has it they'll only be sold as a package deal. I'd do some sort of weird font shit to the word "rumor" in the previous sentance to emphasize it but I'm lazy.

The fact that the loser is using some sort of ballista may be one of the sign's of an impending Apocalypse (and not the Millcreek variety).

I want them all! *cackle* I am looking forward to the Scout because I love single shot pistols like the NF and such. The Hornet because my blastfires are broken, and the Titan because I've never owned a losing weapon and I'm thinking why the hell not.

Hornet. Hands down, there is no way in hell I could run a single shot weapon any more. Too much paintball.

The Scout takes a sleek second, due to the sheer outer design. I still need to determine whether or not it is up to it on the performance, though.

The Titan will become obsolete, namly due to the almost finished 20oz Launcher (Damned Valve...anyone have a good one besides a Ball Valve? Preferably with a 2" O/D?), and due to the fact I don't need a blaster like that.

Look at the polls, they seem to agree with me.

The Hornet is first, because I love multishot guns and the Blastfire is the shiznah.
The Titan second, because it looks easy to hold and intimidating. Of course, I may just end up making it shoot darts, but I guess I have a thing for bazookas.
The Scout I couldn't care less about. I must admit I'm getting tired of pistols, and this thing has "I'm the SM250's twin brother" written all over it. If it cocked like a LnL, this would be second, but it doesn't, so there you have it.

I, like many others, am looking forward most to the Hornet. I agree with all the Blastfire stuff. The Hornet's shape looks very appealing to me, aslo.

I would be more excited about the Scout had if it not been the recent production of spring pistols (i.e., Nite Finder, Tech Target). I think Nerf has more need for larger guns, as the most recent large gun was the Airtech 3000 and 4000.

I'm really looking forward to the Hornet. I would use my BF a lot more, but the damn trigger pull is horrendous. The Hornet also looks a little more compact as well. I also want the Titan, though only if it makes a decent loser rifle after its modded. In anycase, I'll wait a good couple months for other people to buy and mod it before I go out and spend. They all look pretty cool though.

I voted hornet, mainly because nerf needs more primaries, and it looks bad-ass. The scout will probably be a single shot sm250 ( wich I hope it isnt ), and I have no need for an uber powered "loser" canon ( modded Titan ).

I all ready have guns that are the equivalent of the new line, NF/LnL/TTG for the scout, xbow/Sm5k/airbazooka for the titan and a BF for the hornet. But nerf really does have a deficiency in true semi automatics, only the Madhornet which is generally held to be inferior to the other, more recent offering of the Blast fire, Thus I welcome the introduction of the Hornet as a progressive step in that area of nerf blasters, and will probably buy the set just because I can.

Scout, pistols are my specialty. They're small, easily conceled and you can carry several at a time.

I love the Titan! Man, I need it. Now. Get me one. I'm serious. Now!

But really, I don't like weapons that repeat. And I have enough pistols. I need that Titan.

I want the Hornet now, since most people on the forums would say BF's are my specialty, although I rarely use them in a war...Im running low on BF's, and I regret selling my black BF. I miss it.

Aroostrm, if your out there...give a hug to my BF for me!
