In Cxwq's mod, could I use brass or PVC and wouldn't PETG piping make alot of barrel friction?

You could. I have seen a brass mod on the LaMarios (which seems to be down).
With PETG: the barrels fit inside the stock barrel stubs and support pieces.
With Brass: the barrels fit inside the stock barrel stubs, but not the support pieces.
With PVC: You (probably) need to file down the whole turret and make it fit.

I would go with PETG. Brass as a second. I would use brass because it fits my FBR perfectly, but then you lose that extra support bracket, as seen in Cxwq's mod.

A tight barrel may cause more friction, but it may hold the dart until optimum time to exit the barrel. It's an opinion thing, I think.

All right. I might have to go with the brass because I am using it in my Super Maxx 1500. I might need to fiddle with it a bit but I will get there sometime. I will post her up then cause I will all so do...this.

It's all about what fits your darts, dude. How can you even compare PETG and PVC? God damn, they're not even close to the same size! Assuming your FBR fits in PETG the friction is basically nil, the same as any reasonably smooth material. If it doesn't fit well then you're fuxored and should have used something else.
