Well I just got back from Toj's and Armageddon was fucking awesome. The location was sweet, even if we did have to hike to the good locations. It was great to see all old timers and the new faces I saw got in the swing of things really quickly. I was stoked that I finally got my crossbow working up to par with micro stefans, can't wait for the next war.

Highlights:

-A two hour game of fucking rapture the fag. After tons of attempts on both flags we finally got it together and ended it.
-The second short game of CTF where I got sneaky and most people didn't even know I had captured it.
-Zach's adaptation of 3DBBQ's M&M system. He was workin' me up with it until his guns started "mysteriously" breaking.
-Me getting consistently owned by Paul. Paul is half my height. Not fair.
-Zach getting hit in the nuts six times, in the ass three times and once in the earlobe by me.
-Who needs nerf grenades when you have an endless supply of lemons?
-Hubbard's beast of a combogun/space ship, the S.S. Nerfstar. Seeing him fly home to planet Nerflactica was quite a beautiful sight. The crash immediately following wasn't, however.
- Steph #2 owning Spoon with dual powerclips.
-Our excellent nerf duels that weren't staged at all.
-Ray dodging just about every fucking shot I threw his way.
-That angsty, aggressive lounge music Toj had on in the garage. That really got the testosterone going.
-Meeting DXWQ (Kev's brother) who looked and acted just like Kevin, kicked ass for his first war.
-No one bothering us, no stupid yoga people, no tennis players, no soccer children getting picked off, no one calling the cops. Rural locations have their advantages!

Great group of nerfers and a great location. Total success.

I agree, the war ruled. Even though you shot my wrist as I was reloading, as well as other various places. Also when I was the last on the team and all the other ganged up on me and fire everything they could at me, name the WF guy. My legs are beat from the war though... all you guys were awesome and cool. If I can think of anything more I'll post it.

minus the two hour drive and the mud, this was a rocking war. Just enough people and a great location. This was definetly Nerf Ruffin-it.
Highlights:
-Shooting Cxwq(kev) in the head
-Shooting neonerfer(steve) in the head
-Shooting Steph in the ass
-Chasing Neonerfer for 4 minutes as he stealthily stole the flag.
-My 3DBBQ barreld 1500's tank busting along with my A-storms case busting.
-Your Mom!
-HOT DOGS
-CHRONICALLY being shot by Steve and Ray no matter how far away they were.
-Gay sexual joking with my Spooneypooneroony!
-The Lemon Rule!
-Kevins pink-darts-o-love.
Ok im done...

Actually the best darts were the luscious lavender ones.

Anyone like my kamikazi run on my last life where I took out four people with a powerclip?

Steve, I fucking swear that when you stole our flag (stealthily), I heard darts hitting plastic. Twice. As did everyone else. Oh well, it was worth it seeing Shortshit chase you through all the trees.

The pistol duals were the best. I totally pwn3d Gamefreak with my m4d sk1llz.

Those CTF wars seemed to last forever. Nonetheless, they were fun.

My guns broke. A lot. First, one of the pieces of surgical tubing on my LOTRXbow snapped in half. Then, I ramroded my dart to far into my SM750, which kept the valve open so I couldn't pump it. At least my 3K didn't crap out on me. Oh, and thanks for the Maxshot, Kev. I'd better go reinforce it.

Toj, you're awesome. Thanks for letting all us sweaty nerfers in.

God, I really need to come out to more of these.

Oh yeah. I got stung by something in my ankle when I got there. Fucking STILL hurts, even just walking.

Shit you should have told me. Now my stealth is worthless. Poo.

Which is kinda funny, considering that we were shouting it at you the entire time. Maybe your stealth is just in your brain, and you assume that no one is talking so you can't hear anything! But it was a good thing, too; if you didn't get that flag, we'd probably still be playing right now.

No hard feelings, a'ight?

I love my Maxshot.

Jesus you don't have to be so dick about it after the fact. As defence it's your responsibility to let the offense know if you saw something hit them. Not heard something, but infact saw a dart hit them or their gun and change direction. If you had rushed the flag you would have known how confusing shit gets with everyone shooting at you, trying to dodge their shots, shoot them, and take the flag simultaneously. The flag's the only thing you focus on and with that much adrenaline you often don't feel shots and apparently in my case can't hear much either because I didn't hear you or anyone else say anything. If Zach knew that I was hit why would he have kept chasing and shooting at someone who was already dead? Why didn't you approach me and let me know that I had infact been hit once the war was over or even later in the day? The fact that you or whoever saw me get hit neglected to take care of that means that you gave my team the victory so you can't bitch about it now.

I did chase steve for the majority of the course and did not see him get shot, but COME ON guys, the war is over! It was awsome! This isnt the time or place to argue, if you want to start a "Armageddon '04 ARGUMENT" thread go ahead, but keep it off the the summary page eh?

PS- I spell it: Z-A-C-K :P

The war was indeed awesome. Except for when The Two Stephs pw33ned me on camera. That wasn't awesome at all. Much thanks to everyone for getting off their asses and coming to a war. >rimshot< Hehe. This war, with all the hiking and rough terrain, was brutal on mind, body, guns and (especially) darts. Not knowing how many of mine are in the crap darts box, i brought 200 and brough back about 40. My 3k finally is crapping out (good thing I have a spare) and the Max Shot needs repairs and reinforcement. Ahh well, an excellent war!

I could not think of a better way to have my first nerf war than that Armageddon. The whole experience was amazing and a lot better than I pictured it would be. Despite having muscle spasims afterwards, that war rocked. My favorite part was the two hour CTF. Even though their wasn't much progress, it was awesome just moving back and forth through the 10 foot opening. I would definatelty attend the next Armageddon if I'm in the area, since it seems to be a reoccurring vacation area in the summer. Well, I can look foward to the new nerf line and modding my new maxshot for now. And once again, thanks Toj for hosting the war. It ruled.

I should also add that CustomSnake has, by far, the most badass mohawk that I've ever seen at a nerf war.

agreed.

overall a bomb-diggy war. i probably shouldn't have taught steve how to mod his x-bow...especially since mine isn't 'up to par' right now. i'll be back though...just you wait. yeah, i'm fucking sore. i ran this morning and i was more sore from that war than from a week of cross country. i picked up some split shot fishing weights and fbr on the way home, so maybe my darts will work this time. for some reason Walmart in duarte didn't carry 1/4" slingshot ammo, not even behind the counter, whatev. great war guys, capture the flag sucks. i'm gunna go nurse my wounds.

Yep....

Toj, I love your place :P . I enjoyed shooting you four times with my Uruk-Hai Xbow ^_^ . All of the terrain but the muddy puddles (AKA: Vietnam) was awesome. Also Steve's Xbow is very very loud and it fucking hurts. Also, every muscle in my body is pretty sore too and sitting in class for summer school makes my back ache so im gonna go through lots of hell. Wish me luck.
