The QUICK way to reload the RoughCut

After you have fired off a salvo or two, or four, you will let go of the blaster with your dominant hand, holding the blaster by your front hand. Then, tilt the barrels UP, and obtain two darts from any source. A BarrelBreak's ammo rail placed on top of the blaster is a good place to store ammo. You want to pinch the tips of two darts using your middle finger and thumb, placing your pointer finger on the face of the dart tip. Then, guide those two darts into the top two barrels on ONE COLUMN of the barrel assembly. If you try to put them into the top ROW, it will be much more difficult, due to the wedge shape that separates the two columns. Then, repeat that process on the other column. You should have 4 darts placed into the blaster, two in each column, which will give you two salvos. Prime the blaster at this time. Then, repeat the above process twice more on the bottom 4 barrels, and you will have a completely loaded RoughCut. The dart pegs can slow down the loading process as a whole, and once removed, any reloading process you use will be much smoother and quicker.

Roughcuts are notoriously known for being a bitch to reload at a war scene.
I would have a diferent suggestion, why not build one of these [post=]http://nerfhaven.com/homemade/zero_speedloader/[/post]
But, modified to accept the Roughcuts format.
Your thread can use a little pictures.

I do not see why this needs a thread.
Where else would he put it to inform everybody?

Most of my blasters ARE single-shot pistols, hoppered/RSCB'd, or mag-fed. So, no, I haven't.So you're telling me you haven't been loading your darts two at a time into non-clip stock blasters?

Exactly my point. You can load blasters a million different ways.
Should I post a thread about how to load hoppers? How I load my clips? How to properly load a Maverick?
That is all I am getting at.

Maybe it would be a bit much if we had a "loading techniques and methods" sub-forum here, but maybe on the HvZ boards, a thread like this would be right at home. I think that loading techniques are rather underdeveloped in nerfing, and I think it's part of the game, just like modding is.
Why am I even trying to justify this thread to you? Just be happy that someone on NHaven's posting a topic that isn't a "help me, my X is broken". If you have a problem, report it and move on.

It's early in the morning and I'm cranky, so maybe I'm overlooking some keen insight. But I'm pretty sure that you're just trying to find an excuse to advertise your youtube channel.

I'm sorry that it appears that way. I don't really care about my channel as a money making venture, and I don't really listen to my subscribers and whatnot. I just felt that it would be something that maybe a few people would enjoy seeing. I like these new blasters, especially the RoughCut, and I just want to see some more discussion about them.-.-

Who uses a Roughcut at an NIC war? I can see a reloading topic potentially being useful if a certain gun is tricky, but it's kinda pointless with Nerf Elite guns. Almost everyone who brings one gets pwned hardcore.
At an outdoor NIC war NOT using stock darts, I would agree. I have my share of homemades shooting amazing ranges, but I really like stock and modded blasters. This is a new blaster. I think it could have a lot of value at an indoor war (maybe), and it would be something I'd carry at maybe an HvZ game, and would definitely use it at, say, a stock war at my church, or if a war were to have stock rounds. I think more wars should incorporate stock ammo rounds, then we'd actually have a reason to use these things. Reloading is one of the things that soldiers, contractors, trigunners, speed gunners, essentially all the people who use guns in their jobs/hobbies practice, and they develop techniques that let them load more efficiently. Why is it so odd that someone would want to gain the edge at a war with the NON-modding/making aspects of the games?

Some of us play indoors with stock guns. In that sort of setting, the Roughcut is fairly nifty.Who uses a Roughcut at an NIC war?

Yeah, I think we're all done here. This never really needed its own thread to begin with, and it's only gotten off topic since then.
