Hey guys, I hate to make a stupid thread like this but I searched around a bit but didn't find any real useful information. I got an Air Zone Panther, and it's got a leak of some kind. It was working well until I modded it:

When I pump the gun the tank doesn't pressurize at all. My first thought was that the check valve's busted, but given that I didn't plug the pump I can't see how that could have happened. The next option is that I screwed something up when I cut off the stock barrel and ripped out the air restrictor. Since the tank valve is all the way at the back near the trigger I don't know if that's possible either. It's one of those goofy back-pressure valves, not a normal pin valve like in at AT2k.

I know this is really vague, but if anybody else has had a similar problem and could shed some light on it I'd really appreciate it. I can take more pictures if needed. Thanks.

If you try pumping it up really fast does it seal? When I modded mine at first that was the issue. Another thing is when you cut the peg out some of the stub went in and is keeping the seal from being closed. You might have to take the barrel off to check this unfortunately.

The same thing happened to me on one of my panthers. I just pumped it fast as evilbunnyo said and it fixed the problem.

Thanks for the help guys. Seems like what happened was either some debris got inside the valve or the pin didn't go back to its normal position after the last time I fired it. I pulled on the pin a little bit and that seemed to fix the problem.
