So, I plugged the pump with hot glue. The pressure built up and didn't leak the first day, but then when I came back three days later, it was leaking. It may not be nessessarily leaking, but once it gets to a certain point, it won't pump anymore air in. So now I gets like less than stock range. Any ideas why?

Plugging the pump by the common way, in the head of the pump, has the potential of damaging the check valve. The hollow is there in the pump head because there's a little tab on the check valve that nests inside that hollow when the pump is closed. If you plug the pump in that fashion, the hot glue mashes up that little tab and can cause the check valve to malfunction.

The other cause, may be that the seal from your hot glue has a leak and is also holding the OPRV open slightly.

Make it go is right. There is another way to plug the pump which involves PETG. Check it out:

This video was made by Nerfomania and I do not own it. All credit goes to him for the mod guide.
