so was fiddling around with my retaliator the other day and I couldn't find a replacement spring so I though about power stocks and so I realized I could take 2 1/2 metal washers hot glue them to the sring shove it in some 3/4 in pvc put that in the stock and I have it does anyone have a better system than me?

That sounds like a pretty good idea! The only thing I would do diferent is to use an adhesive other than hot glue for the washers. Hot glue will not hold up to the repeated shock and stresses of holding on the spring rest.
