When making an angel breech (for a longshot duh) can you take the little nub that slides into the chamber and cut the point off and just use it as an attachment point for the bolt sled to the bolt?

Yes, but that's not a smart way to do it. Your best bet would be to encase the whole breech in the old breech. AT the very least use the tooth that goes forward from the bolt sled nub.

A larger surface area is key for getting a strong bond (as well as presanding). Using more than the little nub is good, but (depending on the adhesive used) you wouldn't need more than what SgNerf uses below. This keeps the bolt looking very clean and brassy.
