Hello again! I am planning to do a very overhauled Longshot with a brass breech. I was curious to what the optimal brass barrels for this breech so that it will shoot like 80ft flat but its not choking the dart. I think, from what I can tell, most people use 9/16 inch brass for the outer barrel and 17/32 inch brass for the inner barrel. These are the sizes I think are right. Are they or are they not? If they are not, could you maybe tell me what is? I'm new to modding so I just wanted some honest advice. Thank you!

What type of dart are you using? If you use streamlines, then you should have a 9/16 barrel like in this write-up. If you are you using stefans, then you make the angel breech like in this video.

I put together a breech for my longshot this week actually, made specifically for streamlines. I used the usual hot glue gap filler tightening rings and e-tape for loose connections and it only took 3 1-foot bits of brass to build. Im not sure how other breeches preform but the only problem i had with this was shooting white streamlines, guess they are wider than elites and oranges

My LS shoots stefans so,

9/16 for the barrel
19/32 for the breech

Read this guide thoroughly. http://modworks.blog...-mod-guide.html

With a brass breech I think its always better to have a slightly looser barrel and correct this with tightening rings if necessary. A barrel that is too tight will jam frequently and ruin heaps of darts.
