You have to upload the image to an image hosting site (photobucket for example) then get the direct link to the image and paste that into the "add image" box when you are writing the post

Youtube isn't always your answer.
Easiest way to do it is like this:
1. Join Photobuckt, or other photo hosting site.
2. Upload pictures to your account from a SD card, or the Photobucket app if you have a smartphone or something like it.
3. Click the code that says "IMG" and paste it into your text, starting a new line every time you post a new photo.
4. I will demonstrate.

After you've joined and uploaded pictures to your album, you will get that.
Click on the photo you want to get this.

Again, just copy and paste the IMG code into your text like this.

That's what it will look like.
There you go.

The more the merrier (except if you're a 10 year old with a foam sword. In which case - the fewer the better)

Thanks! Another thing, what is the best sight to use? I have used Photobucket in the past for stuff and it didn't work. Would Flicker be a viable option?

Photobucket is one of the easiest sites to use. If it "didn't work" you were doing something wrong.

Phoenix, that's a great tutorial. If you want to post a new thread about this in site feedback I would sticky it, especially since the only image uploading guide I could find on NH with google involved using a floppy disk drive.

Sure thing. I'll do that.

I don't recommend Flickr for that purpose; they have a rule against uploading photos primarily to embed them on other sites. I think they'll delete your photos if they get lots of traffic from being embedded in posts here. I haven't used Photobucket myself, but it seems to work well for lots of people here. Imgur may be another good option, though its album/gallery distinction can be a bit confusing.
