Hi my name is Sandy and my film production company FUTURE LEGEND PRODUCTIONS (www.futurelegendproductions.com) is creating a 10 part mini-series called THE WAR about an Effeminate NERF WAR between 2 rival groups of children. It will be pitched to networks that allow submissions for original programming.

We have NERF's permission to use their name, logo and products. We have a great cast lined up and are working on location scouting, etc now.

It would be great to have some hard core NERF WAR "veterans" to consult with us to make sure we are accurate and genuine. This is a project modeled after the BAND OF BROTHERS mini series that HBO ran a few years back.

We would also welcome a few real NERF WAR enthusiasts for one of the episodes where we feature adult war veterans. We are filming in Phoenix, AZ. If you are interested please email Sandy at admin@futurelegendproductions.com

For more information about the project please check out our Indiegogo campaign at

http://www.indiegogo...ivity&a=1663452

OR our website at www.futurelegendproductions.com

Thanks and serious inquiries only :)

You should talk to goldie, he's pretty well versed in nerf and lives in arizona.

If two powerful is a problem then just go with one powerful. I guess this style of hopper will work even beyond three powerful..

This is very hard to believe. First off, the company's name is Hasbro, not "NERF," Nerf is the line of toys. Secondly, anyone who capitalizes "NERF WAR" or just "NERF" has got to know practically nothing about the subject. Along with the fact that making a TV series about a nerf war is one of the worst ideas I've heard of. Sure maybe a youtube video but there's no way you could get a series out of it! I conclude that this is spam. Hope the mods have fun with this one.

Yeah, I've never seen nerf spelled in all capitals before.

Point taken, all I'm saying is that this looks an awful lot like one of those ads that says something like,"looking for (your search here)? find the best prices on (your search here)!"

This would be very extravagant spamming. Not only do they have a website, but they have an active fundraising page where people have already donated money, so it obviously has some appeal (to four people at least).

Never mind, already addressed.

Wow. The 20 posts that you have really gives you the impression that you're tough shit now, doesn't it?

Anyway, if this is so, this sounds something like what Splicepoint did a few years back, just on a higher level. As a somewhat amatuer in the arts (10 years with music and a little work with Graphic/Industrial Design), I really hope you get to do this. Sounds like you have a good vision, and a decent theme. If you already have Nerf's consent, then that is the main issue checked off. I look forward to seeing your work.

No, not at all. I'm just a major critique when it comes to things like this. I refer you to my above response to VelveetaAvenger.

Full blessing of Nerf? And yet you have buzz bee darts loaded up in your bandolier. This is a frankly silly attempt, aimed at non-modders and fanatical children. You are talking to a group of adults with nothing better to do than to go against a company's safety statements against messing with their products. While you look the look from the kid's perspective, you simply seem silly to those of us who have very little to do with the "tacticool" image and consumerism that Nerf wants to promote.

Hi Sandy. I'd like to apologize for the rather militant member base here; rules are drummed in pretty hard.

The main problem here is that your perception of a "Nerf war" is not at all in line with how they are generally played by members on this site. A Nerf war, in general, seems to be about twenty dudes meeting up, in a park, and playing largely short-run games (i.e. under half an hour for a round), and several different types of round in a day. Teams get switched up, people have a good time; there's really no analogue to war scenario games or milisim activities in Nerf wars. I suppose if you still want the NIC's input, we can talk about it. I'm going to lock this thread so it doesn't get any worse, but feel free to private message me about it.

Also I changed the thread title since there was one too many "need"s in it.
