So really how do you cock a BBB? I've seen so many pictures of it and yet I still have no clue as to how one would prepare this weapon of destruction. Do you pull the handles? Or the top part?

The back handle is part of an inner casing, which contains the plunger and trigger mechanism, as well as shares the plunger tube with the outer casing. When you pull back the inner casing (the back handle), it pulls the plunger with it, and is locked in a cocked position by two inner plates (You can see them as orange nubs in the middle of the gun). When the trigger is pulled, the plunger is released, and flies forward, independent of the inner casing, allowing you to reload by pushing the back handle forward, then back again.

I'd make an animation if I had a 3D model.. But I don't have the motivation for that kind of detail. Hope this is enough until you see it in action.

Well, your description is great Zero, but I still have not the ability to understand the cocking of this gun. I hope one of my school fellows have one where I can test it out. I got a free PC, I mean what else can happen to me?
