Anyways, I was a 10 year old think I was a genius and I can up with this since i had no access to polycarb or anything of likeness to it so here it is

It is a pulley spring with a screw running through the trigger and up through the shell

I'm a little confused as to what this accomplishes.

This is just a way of making it catch better because the catch can not hold a ton of force. The stronger the spring the better, of course

You are a genius.

Anyway, all this does is add a extension spring to the existing catch. It's a good idea, just it's not really a new type of catch.

I actually have this done to my first ERTL PAS and it's about 3 years old, so it has been done before. I think most people don't do it because the spring can pinch your trigger finger if you have big fingers and it kind of looks ugly. But I don't know if there has been a write up on this and it is a great cheap and easy alternative to internally adding to the catch. All in all good job always nice to see new people contributing.

It's interesting, but I still think I'd try to work on the internal catch, for the sake of visual appeal.

Ok I'm a newb and can't reply because I can't post more than twice a day. It holds a Alhpa Trooper spring, the stock spring, and a BBB spring. Thanks for clarification.
